We have such a great time every time we host this tour, and we have had many requests for a repeat. We thought April 2018 would be a perfect time when we all feel Spring is in the air after the Winter Iowa doldrums.Those who enjoy gambling will be in Seventh Heaven as well as those who simply just want to relax at the Gold Strike MGM Resort and Casino.  The Gold Strike Resort is a world class gaming resort facility conveniently located within walking distance of two other major casinos in Tunica, The Horseshoe and The Roadhouse. Sam’s Town is just down the road with multiple gaming facilities for your enjoyment, for those who would like to put a little variety in their gaming experience.  For the golfers in the group, bring your clubs and play a round or two at the nearby Tunica National Golf Course. Our motor coach will be available for shuttle to and from the course upon request.

On April 17th and 18th we will provide our motor coach for those who would like to tour various Memphis points of interest. Located only 40 miles away, Memphis has many world renowned attractions that should be on everyone’s “bucket list”. You will have an opportunity to see them all.
Transportation will be provided by Luxury Motor Coach equipped with restroom, AC power outlets, and DVD.  Complementary on-board refreshments will be provided along the way from our famous “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” refreshment cart.  They will include a wide assortment of snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine and alcoholic beverages to mix your favorite cocktail in route. All with our compliments.
 
Itinerary:

MONDAY, April 16
7:00 AM – Depart Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club on Blairs Ferry Rd behind Burger King
 – Additional pickup locations available en route
– 3 additional refreshment stops, approx. every three hours, or as  requested en route. TBD
7:00 PM – Arrive and check in at The Gold Strike Casino.
 – Evening Dinner on your own at various casino options
 
TUESDAY, April 17
Enjoy all the resort facilities on your own. Breakfast or lunch is provided by The Gold Strike Casino. Our motor coach will be available for area transportation during the day, including the first optional trip to Memphis. By popular request we are providing shuttle service to all Memphis attractions on both the 17th and 18th. It will be a great time to take in that golf or do a little area shopping or sightseeing.)

 
WEDNESDAY, April 18
10:00 AM  – Day trip to Memphis.
 – Graceland, Memphis Zoo, Beale Street and more. Transportation will be provided at no cost. All other costs on your own. 
6:00 PM  – Arrive back at The Gold Strike Resort
 
THURSDAY, April 19
10:00 AM – Depart for Cedar Rapids
 – Three refreshment stops TBD or as needed and requested. 
10:00 PM – Arrive at Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club, Blairs Ferry Rd.
10:30 PM – Call all of your friends and tell them what a great trip you had.
