It has become traditional, at Gold Crown Travel, that we enjoy the gifts and personality of Branson both in the spring and fall.  Both seasons are exceptional, each offering unique and fulfilling experiences for both new and seasoned Branson patrons. Monday, April 20, 2020
7:00 AM – Depart Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club behind Burger King
Coffee, rolls and refreshments of choice on board. Additional pick up locations available in route.
10:30 AM – Brunch at Fiddlestiks Restaurant, Hannibal MO. On your own.
5:00 PM – Check in at Grand Oaks Hotel

Come see Clay Cooper as he celebrates his 32nd season performing along with his Live Band, 10 Dancers, new Male Trio of Singers, and Comedian Matt Gumm, along with outstanding young entertainers Colton & Caden Cooper ! This high-energy show is filled with singing, dancing and comedy with 24 entertainers on stage, great visual effects, and a variety of music. Clay’s show will feature old and new country, rock, current hits, gospel, and patriotic !

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Dogwood Canyon Wildlife Tour & Deli Buffet

Step aboard an open-air trams for a 2-hour narrated Wildlife Tram Tour. Wind through the canyon floor, past towering bluffs and waterfalls, and make stops at the 1800′s-style Hope Wedding Chapel, and Glory Hole, then, cross the Arkansas border and enter the Bison~Elk Country pasture where you’ll encounter American bison, elk, whitetail deer and Texas longhorn . Incl.
Buffet: Starters include Tomato Basil soup, house salad. Build Your Own Sandwich: roast beef, smoked ham, roast turkey, cheddar, swiss, provolone cheeses. Choose from wheat, sourdough, or crusty baguettes. All trimmings and condiments included. Sides include, yukon gold potato salad or boulder canyon potato chips. 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – #1 Hits Of The 60’s & 50’s Too

This show touches over 100 songs from the great artists of the 60′s and 50′s – Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys, The Supremes, Paul Anka, Buddy Holly, Petula Clark, The Beatles… the list goes on and on. Add over 100 costume changes, fun video and a talented cast of seven and you’ve got the recipe for the show dubbed “The Most Fun You’ll have In Branson.”  Each and every performer on stage is passionate about the fact that the unforgettable music and its connection to the audience is what’s really important and distinguishes this show !

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Grand Country Dinner Buffet

An experience reminiscent of dinner at Grandma’s house, dining at Grand Country Buffet is the perfect ending of a perfect Branson day. Slow-roasted, succulent roast and ham is hand carved for you as you fill your plate from the vast selection of five food bars with even more meat choices, fruits, vegetables, salads, fresh baked breads, bakery desserts, ice cream sundae bar and more !

8:00 PM – 10:00 PM –  New Jersey Nights

This show is a spectacular celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and takes the audience on a nostalgic musical journey through the career of one of the biggest selling groups of all times. From the back street studio in New Jersey where it all began, this vibrant production includes all of The Four Seasons greatest hits, Including Sherry, Rag Dolls, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man and so much more. The Production features an award winning cast of singers, dancers and unique stage sets. New Jersey Nights has smashed box office records in the USA and UK.

The Doug Gabriel Show, Staring a Marion, Iowa native, is a good, clean family show with a lot of variety. It has a talented cast, rib-tickling comedy and a terrific ensemble of musicians. Doug Gabriel is a constant favorite with audiences year after year. He’ll impress you with his singing and capture your heart with his sincerity. Joined by his talented family, the Gabriels will bring you comedy, pop, rock, country, gospel, your 50’s favorites, and songs that touch the patriotism that resides in the soul of every American.

Keeter Center Lunch at the College Of The Ozarks
Ozark Pot Roast Lunch Braised Beef Pot Roast slow cooked with rich Brown Sauce and served with Sautéed Campus Green Beans and Creamy Mashed Potatoes, House-made Rolls, and Whipped Butter, Served with Chef’s Choice of Dessert, Coffee, Iced Tea.

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – College Campus Student Guided Tour

The tour includes visiting the Williams Memorial Chapel, Greenhouses, Mill, and the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM –  Shopping Old Branson and The Landings.

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM –  Mcfarlain’s Ozark Dinner

8:00 AM – Load Bus and depart for Cedar Rapids. Multiple rest stops in route.
5:30 PM – Arrive at Sam’s Club Cedar Rapids
6:30 PM – Call all of your friends that did not make the trip and tell them what a great time you had.
