Branson in the Spring

There probably is not a more beautiful time to enjoy Branson than in the spring.  The foliage is in bloom and we enjoy spring as an opportunity to expose our guests to the surrounding natural beauty of the area. And we have picked the best of Branson shows and eating establishments to fulfill your entertainment and eating pallets.

Monday, April 18, 2022

7:30 AM – Depart Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club behind Burger King. Additional pick up locations available in route.

10:30 AM – Brunch: Fiddlestiks Restaurant, Hannibal MO. On your own.

11:30 AM – Depart Fiddlestiks

2:30 PM – Rest Stop: Osage Beach, MO

5:00 PM – Check in at Grand Oaks Hotel All Non Smoking Hotel! Complimentary Hot Breakfast, Interior Corridors, Elevator, Indoor & Outdoor Pools, Jacuzzi Whirlpools, Sun Deck, Exercise Room, Guest Laundry, Conference, Hospitality Rooms. 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM – College of the Ozarks College Campus Student Guided Tour the Public Relations department provides free student-guided tours for charter bus groups. The tour includes visiting the Williams Memorial Chapel, Greenhouses, Mill, and the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen. 

11:30 AM- 12:30 PM –School of the Ozarks Keeter Center Lunch Ozark Pot Roast Lunch – Braised Beef Pot Roast Slow Cooked with Rich Brown Sauce Served with Sautéed Campus Green Beans and Creamy Mashed Potatoes. House Made Rolls and Whipped Butter, Served with Choice of Dessert (Lemon Mousse Torte OR Chocolate Mousse Torte), Coffee, Iced Tea, and Water. 

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – #1 Hits of the 60’s & 50’s Too Remember the songs that were playing when you had your first kiss? Bought your first car? Went cruising on a Saturday night? #1 HITS OF THE 60’s ( & 50’s too ) will take you back to those days with over 100 songs and 100 costume changes as our cast sings hits from Elvis Presley, Paul Anka, The Platters, Connie Francis, The Four Seasons, The Supremes, The Beach Boys, Dusty Springfield, The Beatles and many more… @ Clay Cooper Theatre

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM – Fall Creek Steakhouse Dinner  Choose from: Southern Fried Fish, served with fries, coleslaw and a hushpuppy OR House Sirloin Steak, cooked medium served with vegetables and baked potato OR St. Louis Style Ribs, served with steak cut fries and baked beans OR Country Fried Steak served with mashed potatoes, both smothered with white gravy and vegetables. 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM – The Haygoods  Known as Branson’s Most Popular Show, The Haygoods are legendary for their incredible performances. The show brings excitement, powerful harmonies, energetic dance numbers and incredible family talent to the stage night after night. The Haygoods perform on over 20 different instruments! The only sister of the group Catherine, is featured on the rare and beautiful harp. No other show in Branson features the harp quite like The Haygoods. Critically acclaimed and dubbed “an orchestra of human voices” and “masters of showmanship”, these multi-talented brothers sound like a band using only their mouths.
