DESCRIPTION:				We want to think “SPRING”\, and what better way than to set up a feature tour to the Chicago Flower & Garden Show at Chicago’s Navy Pier on Saturday March 17\, 2018. And at the same time\, Chicago ushers in Spring with their famous St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The Chicago Flower & Garden Show has roots dating back as far as 1847 and is not just a “pretty face”. The show will offer inspiration\, education and motivation to help you become the envy of your neighborhood!The Show\, held each March at Chicago’s Navy Pier\, is an experience for the senses\, invoking memories of spring after a typically long and cold Midwest winter.\nThis year will treat gardening enthusiasts and newbies alike to the sights\, scents and sounds of feature gardens with blooming perennials\, annuals and trees while water features rustle throughout the Festival Halls of Chicago’s acclaimed Navy Pier. Local landscape designers and builders create realistic solutions within their feature gardens and displays that inspire and demonstrate to attendees the possibilities for their own gardens\, yards and balconies.\nAlthough Saturday is a bit more expensive than hosting a tour during a weekday\, we felt Saturday would give everyone that normally could not get away during the week\, a chance to enjoy both these wonderful events. And\, it is opening day for the Flower and Garden Show when all displays are crisp and new. You will be the first to enjoy them.\nThe Parade\nOn the same day\, By sheer Luck of the Irish\, Chicago is hosting its St. Patrick’s Day Parade\, one of the best\, if not THE BEST\, in the nation. With a green Chicago River to boot. Both of these venues are very close to one another and we will arrange for participants in this tour to experience one or both of these great events depending on individual desire.\nYou will be chauffeured via luxury motor coach equipped with restroom\, DVD\, and AC outlets driven by an experience professional driver. Your hosts are native Chicagoan’s and will explain many of Chicago’s wonderful features and sights in route to Navy Pier. And the downtown parade area.\nAll Gold Crown Tours treat you like royalty. Fresh coffee\, juice\, soft drinks\, water and a selection of rolls on the way into Chicago served from our famous “it’s 5′Oclock Somewhere” beverage cart.
