DESCRIPTION:By popular request we have chartered the entire train including the  “City of Los Angeles” and “City of San Francisco” dining cars not only for the wonderful experience of elegant dining aboard one of the most famous railroad dining cars outside the Orient Express\, but also for the enjoyment of the colors of fall which should be at peak for our experience.We have designed an afternoon to bring both young and old back into the era of luxury transportation provided by The Boone Scenic Valley Railroad.\nWe will board the City of Los Angeles and City of San Francisco diner cars and enjoy a lunch menu consisting of your choice of boneless chicken breast or Salisbury steak\, both served with vegetable\, potato\, dessert and beverage.  As we enjoy our lunch we will travel through rolling hills\, cross the Bass Point Creek High Bridge and along the river to the bottom of the Des Moines river valley.  You will experience over two hours of absolutely gorgeous scenery.\nWhat a wonderful and romantic way to celebrate Fall.  Refreshments suitable for both young and mature will be served en route to and from Boone aboard our luxury motor coach.\nGet your sweetheart (I’m bringing mine)\, relatives\, kids and friends to join you on this nostalgic and beautiful railway extravaganza.  The more the merrier.\nTHIS TOUR WAS SOLD OUT VERY EARLY FOR 2017\, 2018 AND 2019 WITH A LARGE STANDBY LIST.
