WOW. Did we ever have a great time previously touring Door County.  There is no way that we would skip putting together another exceptional tour of the Door County area for 2023.
The following, all new Door County itinerary has been prepared in order for us to experience the area to its fullest potential.

Itinerary

Friday, August 4th

7:30 AM –  Depart Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club on Blairs Ferry Rd. behind Burger King.
Additional pickups available in route.
10:30 AM – Rest and lunch in Verona, WI
11:15 AM – Depart Verona, WI
2:30 PM – Rest stop in Green Bay, WI. Area TBD
3:00 PM – Depart Green Bay area
4:00 PM – Arrive at Rowleys Bay Resort Ellison Bay, WI

Rowleys Bay Resort

DAY 2: Saturday, August 5, 2023

7:30 AM – Breakfast Buffet is included at Rowleys Bay Resort. 
8:30 AM – Depart Rowleys Bay Resort with your guide Linda Stuth, 
9:00-9:30 AM – Ferry to Washington Island, 
10:00-10:30 AM – Washington Harbor/School House Beach
10:30-11:00 AM – Farm Museum
11:00-11:30 AM – Stave church
11:30-12:00 PM – Nelson’s Hall to Join the bitters club.
12:00-12:30 PM – Mann’s Mercantile
12:40-1:30 PM – Lunch at Ship’s Wheel, chicken croissant, cup of soup, cherry pie.
2:00-2:30 PM – Ferry back to the mainland
3:00-3:45 PM – Ephraim Lavender Shop
4:00 PM – Return to Rowley’s Bay Resort
5:00 PM – Join a Master Storyteller around a large cauldron in front of the resort. Over the next half hour as the layers of food that contribute to a fish boil are added to the cauldron the storyteller will enthrall you with the story of Rowley Bay and the early settlements in the area. The presentation concludes with the traditional fish boil fireball.
5:30 PM – The buffet that follows includes the traditional fish boil, lots of melted butter and other entrees and “fixins.”

Seaquist Orchards

DAY 3: Sunday, August 6, 2023

7:30 AM – Breakfast is included at Rowleys Bay Resort.
8:30 AM – Depart Rowleys Bay Resort with your guide.
8:45-10:00 AM – Seaquist’s Farm Market and Tour
10:30-11:45 AM – Free time in Fish Creek
12:00-1:00 PM – Al Johnson’s, lunch (Swedish Meatballs,Swedish Pancakes, Ice Cream) beverage,
1:30-2:30 PM – Concert in a School House, Dan Meunièr,
3:00-4:00 PM – Egg Harbor, free time
4:30 PM – Return to Rowley’s Bay Resort TBA Chef’s Choice Dinner Buffet
TBA – Depart for the Sunset Cruise with Sister Bay Scenic Boat Tours. Sit back, relax and enjoy a leisurely cruise as you set out to witness one of Door County’s magnificent sunsets. Enjoy live music and brief narratives identifying breathtaking sites on shore and on the waters of Green Bay. This tour route varies to ensure the best possible sunset viewing opportunities. Don’t forget to bring your camera!

Sister Bay Scenic Boat Tours

DAY 4: Monday, August 7, 2023

7:30 AM – Breakfast is included at Rowley’s Bay Resort.
8:30 AM – Depart Rowley’s Bay Resort for home
