SUMMARY:Lake Michigan Salmon Fishing
DESCRIPTION:  \nWe had such a great time on our maiden fishing tour on Lake Michigan in July of 2019! We are going to make this trip an annual event and will be doing it again July of 2020. We chartered 4 great boats with exceptional captains and crew\, the fishing was GREAT\, the weather was perfect\, and our guests were delightful. \nWhat novice or experienced fisherman could have more fun than hooking into a Big King Salmon on Lake Michigan? July is right in the peak season for a Big Salmon Fishing Adventure. We have designed this tour with the help of “Captain Matt” of Jackpot Salmon Tours – Lake Michigan’s #1 Charter fishing service. Jackpot Charters runs three boats out of Racine\, Wisconsin and has access to several more . Each boat will easily accommodate six fisherman which is what the law allows. \nThe “Jackpot” is a 33-foot Chris Craft Coho\, which is a massive three-tiered vessel and The “Jackpot II” is a 36-foot Trojan Sport Fisherman custom-built for salmon and trout fishing on Lake Michigan. The fishing boats are large\, clean\, equipped with state of the art sonar\, radar\, GPS\, and all the latest in tackle and equipment. These boats have enclosed cabins to get in out of the weather or sun if you wish. They also have full-sized\, clean washrooms and have large back decks so you will fish in comfort under all conditions. The captains and crew are all licensed fishing professionals who have fished Lake Michigan their entire lives and know the waters of Chicago and Winthrop Harbor\, Illinois and Kenosha and Racine\, Wisconsin like the back of their hands. The Crews are committed to working hard on all fishing charters to ensure an enjoyable and successful fishing trip. Best of all..THEY GUARANTEE FISH! As soon as we hit the water you will immediately know that these vessels and their crews are equipped for maximum comfort and ability to catch fish consistently. Salmon fishing the Great Lakes is a unique experience geared towards those who are looking for more of a fishing adventure and hands on experience. \n  \n\n					***NEW THIS YEAR***\nThis year we will be hosting our first fishing tournament for all of our guests. Each of the following categories will be judged by weight. Heaviest fish in each category wins.  \n\nCoho Salmon\nChinook Salmon\n\nWinner in each category will receive $100 CASH. The overall winner with the heaviest fish will also receive a trophy commemorating the achievement.  \n  \nITINERARY:\nSunday July 26\, 202012:00 PM – Depart Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club behind Burger King for Racine\, WI \n4:45 PM –  Arrive and check-in at the outstanding Hilton Doubletree Harbourwalk Hotel  on the marina \n6:00 PM – Let’s EAT. TBD. There are many selections for food and drink in the immediate area. \nMonday July 27\, 20205:00 AM – Board our fishing boats\, and fish for 6 hours. \n12:00 PM – Ice down the fish and retreat back to the hotel for a little freshening up and check out. \n12:30 PM – 1:00 PM – Lunch on the harbour TBD \n3:00 PM – Head for Cedar Rapids \n7:30 PM – Arrive at Sam’s Club in Cedar Rapids Because of the nature of this tour all times should be considered close but approximate. Transportation will be provided by motor coach.
