DESCRIPTION:				Ever since I was old enough to take the streetcar\, when growing up in Chicago\, I was sure to take in the Chicago Auto Show. Even back in the 50′s it was a great event traditionally held at the old Chicago stockyards.Of course\, times have changed. McCormick Place is now the host facility and the event has taken on a much more international flavor. I have attended auto shows all over the country and none compare to the Chicago presentation with respect to glamour and sophistication. It is truly a first class international even attended by auto aficionados from all over the world.\nFirst staged in 1901\, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. This year marks the 109th edition of the Chicago Auto Show.\nWith respect to this great event\, we at Gold Crown Travel would like to make this a special day for everyone joining us. Although it is a bit more costly to arrange a tour of this type on a weekend\, we felt a day when father and son\, daughter\, wife\, car guy and girlfriend\, could enjoy this event without having work or school stand in the way would embellish the experience. In addition to the auto show\, the day will include time in downtown Chicago for sightseeing\, shopping\, dining or whatever one would like to do in addition to\, or rather than\, the auto show. So guys bring your significant other along and let her enjoy the many features of downtown Chicago while you kick some tires at the world’s greatest auto extravaganza.\nTransportation will be provided by a luxury motorcoach equipped with restroom\, AC outlets\, and DVD. Refreshments will be provided both to and from the show. On the way we will have coffee\, donuts\, orange juice\, water and a wide variety of soft drinks on hand. On the way home\, refreshments for everyone will prevail. For adult relaxation and toast to a wonderful trip\, a wide variety of refreshments will be available from our courtesy “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” refreshment cart. We are sure to satisfy most adult preferences.\nThis is sure to be a great friends & family event.\n \nItinerary\n7:00 AM – Depart Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club behind Burger King on Blairsferry Rd.\nAdditional pickups enroute can be arranged.\n11:00 AM – Short rest stop at the Dekalb Oasis\n12:00 PM – Arrive at Chicago’s McCormick Place for the International Auto Show\nMotor coach will make numerous shuttles between McCormick Place and downtown Chicago.\n4:30 PM – Depart McCormick Place\n9:00 PM – Arrive at Cedar Rapids Sam’s Club\n10:00 PM – Call all of your friends and tell them about the wonderful time you had.\n \nRate\n$ 95.00 PP – All Inclusive\, transportation\, event tickets\, all refreshments\nYou can’t fly\, drive or get there any other way and have this much fun for the money.\nContact us to reserve your seat(s)		 \n
